Más de 18 años de experiencia I never thought that teaching could be the right job for me, but - here I am - eighteen years and around a thousand of students later. At some point, I realised that teaching had become a passion. My professional experience before italki was focused mainly on exam preparation both in English (e.g. Cambridge, Trinity) and German (Goethe Institut, telc) and included - apart from the usual group and individual, intensive and regular courses - level-testing and organising mock exams. For several years, I also worked as an English examiner and corrector at one of the universities in Spain. I hold a C2 Certificate in Spanish (DELE).

I love sharing knowledge and ideas. I have been teaching and learning on italki for almost two years now. My specialty are 'General German' and 'Conversation Practice'. As a teacher, I create a friendly atmosphere where you feel comfortable and have the opportunity to speak a lot in German. Making mistakes is very welcome because it's a natural way of learning, although you are going to receive feedback from me so that you can notice your mistakes and correct them.👩🏻‍🏫

When I was 15, I spent six months at a high school in Australia. Later, I helped giving math lessons for a whole year in Botswana – teaching it in English. I’ve worked as a ski instructor, teaching people of all ages, languages and backgrounds and that taught me how to be patient, how to explain things in different ways, and how to keep people motivated, even when it gets tough. I also worked for three years as a mentor for volunteers. During that time, I planned and led a ton of seminars – and realized that what I really enjoy is making things understandable and relevant.
