Let’s study Thai basic structure by using adverb of time : Wan-níi วันนี้ - Today You can put adverb of times at the beginning or the end of the sentence. The yes/no question tag is ไหม which is read as raising tone “măi”, however, in spoken Thai you will hear in high tone more often “mái”. 1. Wan-níi bpai yim mái? วันนี้ไปยิมไหม - Do you go to the gym today? 2. Wan-níi rian (phaa-săa) Thai mái? วันนี้เรียน (ภาษา) ไทยไหม - Do you study Thai today? 3.
