I favour a communicative approach because I believe that a teacher and their student must bring a language to life to really appreciate it. I believe in a good balance between the four skills, and I believe that grammar is fundamental in the studying of a language. I like lessons to be informal and based on your own interests but productive with a clear goal in mind.

I have taught English for more than 9 years now. I'm an ESL teacher in Melbourne, Australia at the moment. As a classroom teacher, I deal with adult international students. My students come from diverse backgrounds: from South America to Europe and Asia.

8 years experience on three continents. Children, adults, groups. I started to teach 11 years ago in Spain and it was a total coincidence and since then I love it. After 3 years of teaching in Spain I decided to go to Australia, where I did my CAE certificate and I obtained TESOL and TECSOL certificate for English teachers. I worked with students all ages from 5 months to 66 years old, all different levels ( beginners to advance). I worked as a teacher in Spain, Australia and China. I really enjoy teaching and I don´t want to do anything else in my life. I always have an amazing connection with my students. It is important to create an excellent atmosphere in my classroom.
