Customized Korean Reading with Real Texts As a teacher, I focus on making Korean feel approachable and practical. I have experience explaining Korean language and culture to international learners, and I’m good at breaking things down in a clear, easy way. My background in Korean Studies helps me explain not just what to say, but why Koreans say things the way they do — always in a simple, student-friendly way. I’m patient, supportive, and happy to adjust my pace to each student’s level and goals.

I have taught English to Chinese students at the beginner level and also adults when I was living for 3 months in Lviv, Ukraine. The way I taught my English classes with adults is taking excerpts from a podcast and discussing at length the conversation taking place. The way I like to learn languages is mainly through Anki, but also through conversation. We can discuss your goals and can come up with a strategy to reach the Intermediate Plateau (B2 level) in the target language that you would like to learn whether it be English or Korean.

Learning a language is not just about knowing how to read, write or speak, but to embrace the culture and the history. I think of it as a long journey or a marathon, but while having lots of fun along the way. Just as a journey or a marathon has a destination and a finish line, we do need consistency and endurance as well as short and long-term goals. Everyone is unique - that makes this journey or marathon interesting!

I am a friendly, very patient🥰 and experienced👍 Korean teacher. My students say I am very good at explaining when they have questions and I always make sure they understand. I have taught many students from all over the world and from the experience, I learned that every student has their own pace and style. During the first class, I talk to the students and figure out their needs and what their current level is. And then I decide how to teach according to the individuals.
