Practical approach & conversation training I have multiple interests, the most important of which is learning foreign languages. I speak English, German and a little bit of French and Spanish. Bachelor in international relations, decided to change carriers and got a teaching license. Have experience teaching adults at a language center and kids aged 5-11 at primary school and kindergarten. Other than learning languages I like sports, listening to audio books, watching films, series and educational videos. I'm convinced that the results of learning a language depend on a student as much as they depend on a teacher. First of all, good coversation skills are obtained primarily by practicing coversation, which requires patience and commitment. To start practicing conversation from scratch, I prefer using such methods as discussing daily news, writing short texts about personal experience on basic topics (e.g. hobbies, daily routines, shopping etc.) or a diary, sharing it in class, reading and retelling short stories, retelling video- and audio messages etc. For intermediate and advanced learners I like to do the same but without spending as much time on building vocabulary.

As a teacher, I prefer to use authentic materials. When teaching grammar, I apply the flipped classroom approach: instead of doing homework after the lesson, the student studies the material beforehand and then practices it as much as possible with me during the class. This proven method leads to faster and more lasting results. I always focus on the student’s interests and select materials that match their individual goals and needs.
