On italki, I offer conversation lessons. We talk: about your day, your work, life in Norway or Germany, things you're curious about – and along the way you pick up natural phrasing, vocabulary, and cultural context that textbooks don't give you. My approach is conversation-first. Grammar comes up when it comes up – I'll catch patterns in the moment ("did you notice you skipped inversion there?") instead of running a fixed curriculum. If you want grammar drills or a written study plan, I'm probably not the right fit. If you want to actually use the language with someone who explains things as they happen, that's exactly what I do. After each lesson you get a list of the new words and phrases from our conversation – your vocabulary, not a generic list. With a lesson package, you also get a personal practice page with quizzes built around the grammar and expressions that came up in your lessons. I adapt to your level. Beginners are welcome too – but you need some basics to build on.
