As I have learned French, English and a bit of Tagalog, I know all the challenges of learning languages. Learning German is a complex task, but it is absolutely possible to master it! I believe that you can achieve great competence in whatever you work on if you believe in yourself and invest some energy on a regular basis.

Professionally, in language teaching, I own a certificate for language teaching to adults specializing among other things in teaching writing systems. Here, as a teacher, I intend to develop materials and routines which will help you most achieve your goals in learning German. We will identify those linguistic structures in German together, which are most alien to you given your possibly multilingual background. It is those structures which are usually hardest to learn.

I’ve been tutoring since I was a student myself — in law, languages, and study skills. My lessons are conversation-based, flexible, and adapted to your needs. I won’t give you a step-by-step textbook course — instead, I’ll coach you through real-life communication, at your level and pace. I don’t teach Dutch from scratch, but if you already speak a little, I’ll help you build fluency, confidence, and clarity. Because language is a skill — and you only learn it by using it.

Ich begann mit dem Unterrichten von Hochdeutsch 2017 während eines Auslandssemesters. Als ich Italki entdeckte, spezialisierte ich mich auf Zürcherdeutsch und helfe seither Einwanderern bei ihrer Integration in der Schweiz. Das Level variiert dabei von Beginnern bis hinzu Fortgeschrittenen. Aus Mangel an guten Unterrichtsmaterialien habe ich im Verlauf der Jahre meinen eigenen Kurs mit einer Vielzahl verschiedener Übungstypen zusammengestellt. Ich biete auch weiterhin Unterricht in Hochdeutsch an und kann eventuell auch bei weiteren Schweizer Dialekten weiterhelfen.
