日本ではペットのことをうちのアイドルと言います。家族のアイドル的な存在だからそんな風に言うんだと思います。大抵の場合はペットを可愛がって甘やかしたり、至れり尽くせりする人が多いと思います。私の家族も同様で、少しでも役に立ちそうとか健康に良さそうと思った物には惜しみなくお金を使っていますし、ソムちんのためならとみんな協力します。

今日はうちのアイドルソムちんを紹介します。ソムちんは約1年前に我が家にやってきたポメチワ(ポメラニアン✖️チワワ)の女の子です。母の一目惚れで我が家の一員になりました。本当の名前はラルですが、私はあだ名としてタイ語でオレンジ🍊という意味のソムと呼んでいます。

実は私は昔も犬を飼っていたことがあったので犬を飼う喜びも大変さも分かっていました。(子供の時から飼い始めて、最後は一人暮らししていた家で看取りました。)だから、家族で唯一飼うことに反対しました。他の家族は「良いじゃん、良いじゃん」と大賛成でしたが、私はうちの家族には時間がなさすぎると感じていました。そんな中で家族が私の反対を押し切って迎えたのがソムちんです。飼い始めた時は家族はできると言ったのに全然お世話しきれず、私もたくさん協力したし、よく家族と言い合いになったり、喧嘩したりしました。今は1年経ってそれぞれの役割ができて、落ち着きました。

さて、そんな経緯で家族になったソムちんですが、性格が強いと家族から言われています。例えばおもちゃを引っ張り合いしているときにどんどんエスカレートして人に噛みついてきたり、赤ちゃんぐずるように眠くなると攻撃的になってしまうことがよくあるんです。元々ポメラニアンもチワワも性格がキツいと聞いたので納得です。家族には負けず嫌いなところと眠いと不機嫌になるところが私によく似ていると言われています😅

好きなことはおやつと散歩です。おやつが大好きでパッケージが開く音がするとキラキラした目で釘付けになります。時々、ご飯を食べないでボイコットし、おやつをもらおうとします。そんな時、私は絶対にあげませんが、家族は甘やかすので時々あげているみたいです。家族がよくおやつをあげるので私はおやつをあげませんが、代わりにたくさん散歩に連れていったり、運動🥎させるようにしています。私が散歩に行くと1時間くらいは歩いたり、公園で遊んだりするので帰ってくるとソムちんはクタクタになっています。その夜もよく寝てくれるので私は日本にいるときは頻繁にソムちんを連れ出すようにしています。ソムちんが大人しくなるので家族にも感謝されることが多いです笑

Aquí un buen consejo, es algo que yo hago, cuando me siento triste, tomo algunos minutos jaja…o a veces cuando lo necesito urgentemente, tomo un par de horas para pensar mi vida y soñar un poco, soñar con que soy más feliz y que las personas que me rodean son más felices y que la humanidad en sí es más feliz.
Eso es sanador. Pero no se puede quedar allí. Porque si no despiertas y te das cuenta que tu realidad y lo que soñaste pues…son cosas muy distintas.
Así que…sí, soñar es sanador, pero…lo que yo diría que sana más es el buscar un camino para SER y estar en el mundo de la forma que tú ves en tus sueños.
Así que…ármate un plan, un plan sobre cómo hacer más corta la distancia entre eso que sueñas y tu realidad actual. Eso es lo sanador. También, obvio, sueña cosas positivas para ti y para todos los que te rodean y sé consciente que hay cosas que sí puedes cambiar y otras que no.

ESTE CUENTO NOS HABLA DE: El Cuadro.


En un pequeño apartamento, lleno de libros antiguos y objetos extraños, vivía un pintor. Era un hombre solitario, que pasaba horas frente a su lienzo, intentando capturar la esencia de la oscuridad que lo rodeaba. Su última obra, un retrato de una mujer desconocida, lo había obsesionado por completo.

Los ojos de la mujer en el cuadro parecían seguirlo a dondequiera que fuera. Eran ojos profundos, llenos de una tristeza infinita, que lo invitaban a adentrarse en un mundo de sombras. Por las noches, el pintor juraba escuchar susurros provenientes del cuadro, palabras ininteligibles que resonaban en su mente.

Con el paso del tiempo, el pintor comenzó a sentirse cada vez más aislado. Sus amigos y familiares se preocupaban por su estado, pero él los rechazaba. Solo el cuadro lo comprendía, o al menos eso creía él.

Una noche, mientras trabajaba en un nuevo lienzo, el pintor sintió una presencia detrás de él. Se giró lentamente y se encontró con la mujer del cuadro, que se había materializado en su habitación. Era exactamente igual a como la había pintado, pero sus ojos ahora brillaban con una luz siniestra.

La mujer se acercó a él y, con una voz suave pero penetrante, le susurró: "Tú me has creado, y ahora yo te poseo".

A partir de ese momento, la vida del pintor se convirtió en una pesadilla. La mujer del cuadro se convirtió en su sombra, siguiéndolo a todas partes. Lo obligaba a pintar cuadros cada vez más oscuros y perturbadores, hasta que su mente se volvió completamente frágil.

Una mañana, los vecinos llamaron a la policía al escuchar gritos procedentes del apartamento. Cuando entraron, encontraron al pintor sentado frente a su lienzo, completamente inmóvil. Sus ojos estaban abiertos de par en par, fijos en el cuadro. En el lienzo, una nueva figura había aparecido: era él mismo, pero con los ojos de la mujer.

New Year is the perfect time for people to try new things, like changing their diet or habits. Some people take part in Veganuary, an annual challenge where they avoid eating animal products like meat, dairy, or eggs during January.

Veganuary first started in 2014 as a fun way to explore a vegan lifestyle and see how it feels. Since then, plant-based eating has gained popularity, and it's not uncommon for restaurants to offer at least one vegan option on their menus.

But a study has found that many meat-eaters end up feeling disgusted by meat after trying Veganuary.

Researchers studied 40 meat-eaters before and after Veganuary.

They found that, although most participants went back to eating meat when the month had ended, they felt more disgusted about doing so. And people who ate the least amount of meat during the challenge felt the most disgust afterwards.

A separate 2023 study on 46 Veganuary participants found that they were much less likely to describe themselves as meat-eaters after taking part in the challenge.

Scientists suggest that this change happens because people feel uncomfortable when their actions don't match their beliefs. Many enjoy the taste and convenience of eating meat, but they also feel guilty about the cruelty of factory farming.

So by giving up meat during Veganuary, participants may start to think more about these issues and develop negative feelings toward eating meat.

This research shows that even a short-term change in behavior can change the way you think, says Natalia Lawrence, a scientist from the University of Exeter who worked on the studies.

"Normally, the idea is to educate people first to change their attitudes, and hopefully they end up changing their behaviour," she told The Guardian.

"But if you persuade people to change their behaviour for a month, it seems that these things follow."
