Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to report the incident that I had on August 1st, 2023 when I lost my laptop during my vacation. The item in question is a brand-new Apple laptop, model 1214,with dimensions 20 inches by 18 inches, and it is black in color. Additionally, it was inside the same color case at the time of loss. Despite my carefulness, I misplaced my laptop in the Marriott Hotel because it was connected to the charger in my room 1234 between 2 and 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Unfortunately, no one from the hotel staff informed me about it. Today I called the Hotel but they did not find my laptop. Given the circumstances, I would like to request compensation for my lost item because the cost of this laptop is about five hundred Canadian dollars.
