▪ The word demography has been derived from the Latin word 'demos' meaning people; and grapho meaning to draw, to describe, to discuss. Hence it is to say that demography is the description of people or the study of the human population. ✅ Can I write the sentence above like this? => The word demography has been derived from the Latin word 'demos' meaning people; and grapho meaning to draw, to describe, to discuss; more precisely demography is the description of people or the study of the human population. ✅ If I can, which one sounds more natural and why please explain.

Hi Fargana, the word “demography” doesn’t come from Latin but from Greek. The rest of your reasoning is correct tho :) Demos= “the people” + graphy It’s basically the study of statistics that contribute to the composition of a particular population.
