Learning vocabulary is probably the longest road to learning a language but luckily the word frequency theory tells us that when learning a language, it is not needed to possess a vast vocabulary to understand a bit proportion of the language. With only 1000 of the most common words you can already understand around 70% of everything that is ever said or written in a language and even more so in daily conversations an subjects.

Jawel! Ik de bijvoeglijke naamwoorden uit een documentje van inderdaad de 1000 meest voorkomende woorden gehaald. Hahahahh ja, die neiging heb ik soms als een bepaald woord een woord in een andere taal niet goed representeert. Die van de werkwoorden heb ik van een eigen lijst voor Roemeens gepakt en vervolgens ingevuld voor Nederlands. :)
