Hi alina, funny question but very interesting :D

The current name "tiramisu" , however, is traced back to the Venetian courtesans. It was rumored that the "tiramisu" had aphrodisiac properties, and so large eat of tiramisu precede at every meeting and every gallant loving embrace, becoming an essential ritual. :)

It was probably this supposed quality to give impetus and vigor to the love meeting, giving rise to the name slightly allusive/suggestive.

In fact "tiramisu" in italian is composed by the word "tirare"(to pull) + "mi" (myself) and "su" (up). :)

What do you mean by "special meaning"?<strike></strike>

If you're curious about the name's meaning:

Literally "tirami su" means "lift me up". The most plausible story of the origin of the tiramisù tells it's been invented at the end of XVII century in Siena for Cosimo III De Medici's visit. Paying homage to the duke, pastry chefs called the dessert "duke's soup".

The recipe spread to Florence, to the Lombardy and the Venetian region. Venetian courtiers thought this dessert had aphrodisiacal properties, they used to ate it before sexual intercourses, so from this... "lift me up" with an allusion to the erection.

One trashy singer from the 80's has a double entendre song about it, that's the only play on it I know:
