Before I can correct your entry accurated, can you please write those with CHinese characters especially Zheng Tai.  I have an inkling of what you are talking about but am not sure.  The only clue is Shota which I sort of know in Japanese anime.

About Zheng Tai (A New Mandarin Vocabulary)

Zheng Tai is a new Mandarin vocabulary originated in Japan. It is said that standard Zheng Tai is the east boy 12-year-old with short-hair. Therefore, strictly speaking the western boy can not be called Zheng Tai, but speaking from a broad sense, Zheng Tai means young, no beard, very cute, sprouting boy. I think the previous name of Zheng Tai is small white face or cream boy. I don’t know how to translate it in English exactly, but I can write them with pinyin : xiao bai lian and nai you xiao sheng. But I am a little worried that when he meet a good girl someday, if he will say:" would you please be my girlfriend because I'm a Zheng Tai?” From the perspective of Chinese girl must be very offensive to listen to these words.
