My Hometown Chongqing Today, I would like to introduce my hometown to everyone. My hometown is Chongqing which located in southwest of china .It is surrounded by mountains and has two main rivers cross by. Due to those natural environment conditions, it makes Chongqing has another nickname, which called “the fogy city”, just like Seattle .Thus, there are two things are very special compared with other cities in china, which are food and beauty. First of all, because of the particular geographic circumstances in there, the air is very damp and humid, especially in the winter and spring. Therefore, this is the main reason that people who lives in there like to eat spicy food. As we know, eating spicy food can make human’ body turn warm and feel more comfortable in the moist atmospheres, so it is very common to find many kinds of spicy dishes showed in the menu in the local restaurant. For example, the most famous spicy dish in this city is hot-pot which is very popular among china. Local people like to put different vegetables and fleshes into a big container with spicy flavors of boiled soup inside to boil them .After waiting for a few seconds ,when those contents turn to be well-done, then it is the time to enjoy your food ,which is very tasty and delicious. Even though, in the summer, people also like to order some beer and eat hot-pot with friends or relatives and get sweat at night, which is real unique Chongqing style. What is more, among the folk, there is a saying that in China, the city which has the most number of beautiful girls in their population is Chongqing. Maybe it is a little exaggerating, but is it true that the local girls are mostly very beautiful and charming. For instance, owing to the moist air, which makes the girl‘s skin is pretty tender and smooth .Also, the spicy food are their main dish in the life, so generally girls are very active and outgoing that is the same so impressive as the taste of hot-pot, if you have just even once tried it, then it can be very memorable for you. Generally speaking, this is my lovely birthplace, Chongqing, which is not so fashion like London and not so famous like Beijing, but is a lively and warmly place that welcome you to visit.
