Teenagers and young people should share housework equally with their parents. Do you agree? (140 - 190 words) Notes: 1. Who has more time for housework. –both have same time for housework 2. Who does housework better. – it’s only practice but some chores are dangerous 3. (your own idea). – fair play sharing chores / tasks Housework is one of the most controversial issues at home. Nobody likes doing housework but it’s necessary. The little ones usually have homework and activities after school, so they don’t have much time or patience to do the chores. However, parents need to relax after work, so both of them have the same reasons to claim free time. However, it’s known that parents tend to care more about healthy lifestyle and it’s important to make understand children that sharing the chores everybody enjoy their leisure in equal conditions. Parents usually do housework better because they have spent more time doing it. Some of the tasks are dangerous, like cooking or cleaning top of the furniture, but it’s only practice. The solution is to share chores according to each person abilities so everyone can help. I advise to choose one day a week when everyone is obeyed to clean and for the rest of the week to make a schedule according to everyone possibilities. In conclusion, it’s a sensitive issue, but if we cooperate everyone should be able to enjoy their free time!

Housework is one of the most controversial issues at home. Nobody likes doing housework but it’s necessary.

The little ones usually have homework and activities after school, so they don’t have much time or patience to do the chores. However, parents need to relax after work, so both of them have the same reasons to claim free time. However, it’s known* that parents tend to care more about a healthy lifestyle and it’s important to make children understand that sharing the chores means that everybody can enjoy their leisure time equally.

Parents usually do housework** better because they have spent more time doing it. Some of the tasks are dangerous, like cooking or cleaning on top of the furniture, but it only requires practice. The solution is to share chores according to each person's abilities so everyone can help.

I advise to choose one day a week when (everyone is ordered to clean/it is compulsory for everyone to clean) and for the rest of the week to follow a schedule which accounts for everyone's time constraints/availability.

In conclusion, it’s a sensitive issue, but if we cooperate everyone should be able to enjoy their free time!

*If you want to be sophisticated when using the word 'however', don't put it at the front of the sentence but, instead, after the first clause. This sentence would, therefore, read "It's known, however, that parents tend to care more....". It's not essential (many English speakers would put it at the front of the sentence!) but it sounds more professional :)

**You could also say "perform chores"
