What is the meaning of "get a buzz out of sb / sth"? Does this mean that someone enjoys something? "She gets a buzz out of her work - She enjoys her work?" "I hope you get a buzz out of Ted - I hope you enjoy / really like Ted?" Am I right? Thank you in advance!

If you get a buzz out of something or someone, it makes you feel very good and excited. If somebody gives you a buzz, it usually means that they contact you, though it could also mean they make you feel good. It depends on the context. If you get a buzz from some drug or drink, it means that it makes you either high or drunk (a little).
