How do you use supervise and oversee? How do you use supervise and oversee? and what's the difference? I looked up the words in a dictionary but I couldn't get the difference. Can you give me some sample answers?

Supervision is more hands on, like a team leader who is also the manager directing his team. It is concerned with both the methods and results; whereas oversight is more generally only concerned with the results. To use a real world example, a local store manager would supervise the employees, ensuring that they do their work properly as well as reach their goals. A regional manager, who oversees 10 stores, would be less concerned with the day to day goings on at the individual stores, but would look at their overall results. He might also be concerned with employees doing the work properly but would address it at a higher level.
