And why the people in Los-Angeles CA don't like to carry the murses?

Murse is a man purse like Jeddy said. But it's more like a satchel than a wallet. People don't like to carry murses because they think it is "feminine" and so people will think they are homosexuals. Also because many homosexuals actually do carry around "murses" so it makes people think that even more.
