Why would iTalki reject an application for a community teacher where the profile is great with lots of experience and references to teach the language plus a very good video, and on top of that their reply as as vague as it gets with NO reason at all.

What the heck??? I have to say im a bit disappointed by this lack of professionalism by italki, not even giving you a reason.

Sounds strange, but with all the adverts by teachers/tutors here they must be hitting a limit.

I had the same situation. I applied to teach my native tongue, and I see that there are no other native teachers available for my language, so I could actually become the first. But they didn't even have the courtesy to provide the exact reasons for declining.

Well. I taught for them for 8+ years. Had amazing reviews, 5*, loads of enthusiastic return students. Yet I took a break from teaching to find out my profile had been deactivated, and when I reapplied they sent me the same generic rejection. Pretty gutted right now and trying to find out why.
