Hello, I'm Thembi a South African girl with a bubbly personality, who is passionate about helping people. That is why i look forward to helping you develop your English speaking, writing or reading abilities. I have a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy, I also have a TEFL certificate, therefore i will be patient with you because i understand how difficult it is learning and teaching a new skill/language.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I am a very patient individual, and understand that it will take time for you to grasp certain concepts. Thus i will work with you to set your goals and work at a pace suitable for you. My role as a teacher will be to provide support, provide you with examples of a task before you do it and provide you with feedback on your progress so that you know how you are doing so we can check your progress.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
My teaching style is more a student centered approach therefore my role will be to facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material, and to measure student learning through both formal and informal forms of assessment like class participation, conversational skills, group assignments etc.
I will make use of visual aids to illustrate meaning (a visual aid will either be a picture, real item, or drawings)
Repetition and reinforcement, therefore we will practice as many times until you have made progress!.
Roleplay work with younger students were they practice their conversational skills assuming different roles to facilitate fun and engagement during the class.Il mio materiale didattico
