Hi, I'm Martina! I grew up in New Zealand and the UK and was born in Hungary, so I'm a native speaker of both English and Hungarian, and I also speak Korean!
I'm talkative, friendly, and open to chat about anything. I also really take pride in my work - I have taught thousands of English classes, and I'm passionate about using all of my expertise to help you to achieve your English goals.
I love reading non-fiction, and love talking about philosophy and psychology, as well as food, travel, culture, fashion, and anything else you like!

Although I'm a professional teacher, don't expect lessons with me to be dry or strict! I am friendly and helpful and I always start classes with a good catch-up, but I'm meticulous in giving corrections and formal teaching as well.
I have 3+ years of professional teaching experience, mainly teaching 1-on-1 classes to adult students at a premier English academy in Seoul, South Korea. I have taught thousands of classes to hundreds of students, including business English, test prep, conversation, and more.

I have lesson plans for Business English as well as conversation topics and questions so you can challenge yourself with new subjects and vocabulary, and we can also do free talk! I am also a qualified IELTS teacher so if youโre looking for exam preparation, I can help you perfect all four exam areas (reading, listening, speaking, writing) as well as your exam technique and knowledge.
You will have your own online document where I record corrections, grammar, and vocab feedback throughout the lesson - you donโt have to take any notes yourself!
