My name is Greta and I am a native English speaker from the USA living in gorgeous Colorado. I am excited to meet you and help you accomplish your goals in your language-learning journey. My passion is to empower others to empower themselves. I am TEFL certified, have 4 years of experience teaching ESL, and a background in Psychology. This is an amazing opportunity for you to grow, learn, develop confidence and fluency, and create the life you want. As a teacher I am positive, upbeat, encouraging, and patient. I also provide a lot of energy and enthusiasm to my lessons. I always have a smile on my face! It is really important to me that you feel comfortable and we speak to each other as if we were friends. Make mistakes! You're human, it's natural. I am a student just as much as your are, and also empathize with the frustration of learning a language since I've been learning Spanish for years and continue to do so. But it is not impossible and the most enriching experience. My lessons are primarily focused on conversational practice and fluidity, adjusting to your needs. They can range from silly and funny to deep and philosophical. I like to challenge students to think outside of the box. My style is very open and fun, engaging and interesting. We will cover all kinds of topics to increase vocabulary, break down grammar, practice listening, and of course fluency and speaking. I also coach and help specifically with public speaking, interviews, and presentations. I provide plenty of resources: English grammar exercises, news in English designed for English learners with discussion questions/new vocabulary we can go over in class, sample IELTS tests, and videos.Il mio materiale didattico

She's awesome, always positive, fun and engaging, also a very smart and open-minded person. I'm not a very talkative person (which is terrible for a language learner) but she always manages to create a very comfortable environment where I'm able to express myself.
