Hi! My name is Maureen and I teach English on italki. I am a tutor who wants to assist you in reaching your language goals. I'm passionate about effective communications in the English Language. I am very diligent, patient, and easygoing! Always excited to make positive impacts on my students. I love traveling, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures. I enjoy speaking and teaching English because English is fun and very interesting. Besides teaching English, I have previously worked as a Human Resources Administrator over the years where I specialized in recruitments, training, and onboarding new employees. I am a fully qualified TEFL teacher. I earned a Master's degree in English and also hold a B.A degree in English Language & Literature. My teaching style is patient, fun, interactive, and absolutely engaging. Learning a new language is quite interesting and a lot more challenging. So, I understand that making mistakes as we practice speaking and writing English is normal and very natural. We usually grow to perfect our language learning, achieving fluency and effective communication through those mistakes we make during the process of learning and acquisition. Therefore, in my classroom, I like to use TPR, props, visual aids, and introduce games to make my lessons interesting and help my students understand the topic.Il mio materiale didattico

The teacher did not note my mistakes in pronunciation and sentence construction in my document and did not adhere to my methodology, although I sent her a description of the methodology long before the lesson. She agreed, but apparently did not read my message to the end. In addition, the teacher slept during the lesson. I understand that the difference in time zones is large, but why set such a time!?
