Born and raised in Sweden, I came to the United States after high school to compete in Track and Field.
I spent my teaching career in America teaching physical education, special education, ELA, and ESL. I work as a Swedish teacher for a language institute and I design my own Swedish curriculum.
My passions besides languages are athletics and my hobbies, to name a few: swimming, table tennis, badminton, snowshoeing, traveling, reading, and spending time on the beach with my shih-poo Luna. I love to work out and have run hard almost every day since I was 14. I did the 800 and 1500 m for the Swedish national team in Finnkampen and the European Indoor Championship.Che tipo di insegnante sono
Teaching to me is an art more so than a science! I teach, I support, I coach, and I care for you! I want to see progress and fast! I also want to see you have fun and gain real confidence in speaking Swedish. I want you to feel comfortable in our lessons and productive! I teach a structured, yet more or less a whole language approach; that is personalized to your goals, dreams, personality, interests, motivation and style. I always aim for interactive lessons that energize and inspire you. After each lesson, I create homework assignments for you!! Det var en jättetrevlig första lektion med Birger. Han visade stort tålamod och ställde många frågor, vilket gjorde lektionen både engagerande och lärorik. Dessutom föreslog han flera alternativa planer för de kommande lektionerna, anpassade efter mina behov och mål :)
