My name is Anna, I'm Russian from Novosibirsk (Siberia), but now I live in Bologna (Italy). I'm a qualifying examiner for TORFL (Test of Russian as Foreign Language - all levels), exams for migrants and for applicants for Russian citizenship. I got the CILS C2 Certification of Italian as a foreign language in 2015 (requested for the positions of official translator and teacher of Italian Language).

Russian and Italian language instructor skilled in motivating and mentoring students of all ages and learning levels with excellent communication skills demonstrated by more than 7 years of teaching experience. Implements traditional and innovative methods to motivate students to learn the Russian and Italian languages and understand Slavic and Italian culture.

While my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, I excel at: • Increasing student concentration, participation, and accountability. • Creating hands-on curriculum to promote interest. • Designing creative lesson plans and utilizing diverse technology. • Tutoring and mentoring individual students. • Creating individualized plans and programs to facilitate a targeted, personalized approach to education while stimulating students’ enjoyment and appreciation for language and culture. In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation and a passion for teaching.

I really enjoyed Anna's class. I'm only around an A1/low A2 level and hadn't practiced or spoken Italian in years, so I felt like I had forgotten a lot, but Anna made the lesson fun, interactive, and most importantly, encouraging. This was especially great because I had had a trial lesson with another Italian teacher earlier this same day, and I felt so discouraged after it because the teacher gave no encouragement whatsoever. So Anna really lifted my spirits and brought back my excitement and enthusiasm. I'll definitely have more classes with her, and I think I will improve quickly with her help. Thanks so much, Anna!
