I’ve had a few dozen conversational Hokkien (Taiwanese) lessons with Kai over the past few months. He is an outstanding teacher. He is never less than 100% engaged during lessons. His explanations are always admirably clear. He is an alert partner in conversation. His corrections are delivered efficiently and do not derail the flow of the discussion. Highly recommended.

Kai is a great teacher and very pedagogic in his approach to teaching Taiwanese, which has been super helpful for me so far to understand as someone not in a Taiwanese-speaking environment.

I had my first lesson with Kai, and it went really well. He is passionate, energetic, and clearly takes his lessons seriously. His enthusiasm for teaching Mandarin made the session engaging and productive. I appreciate his structured approach and look forward to learning more with him!
