我是一个语言爱好者。从小热爱学英语的我后来在哥伦比亚大学教育学院获得了英语语言教育的硕士学位，希望结合我的理论知识和实用我对帮助更多的英语学生。从学校毕业后，我还加入了权威的测评机构 ETS （设计和发布托福、GRE 考试的研究机构），担任产品研究员的一职。我从工作中了解到了更多对于语言学习的设计和评估方法。
As an ESL student in China, learning English was one of my favorite things growing up. We had English lessons at school, but my parents were particularly enthusiastic about spending a lot of their own time learning English with me; some tasks were really challenging. 学习另一种语言不仅仅是学习相同事物的不同词汇，而是学习另一种思考事物的方式。我的教学理念是学习和练习结合、保证语言实用性、尊重个人特点。「语法」和「知识点」这些概念听起来是很枯燥的，但也是语言的载体。我会在提供这些“载体”的同时，让我的学生们把这些语法点通过练习和反馈，变成他们自己语言工具的一部分。比如，很多的传统教材（比如《新概念英语》）在语法点的进阶上做得好，但文章的话题往往已经脱离现在的生活。我的课堂在汲取传统教材的优势之外，还会让学生有很多机会来练习完成生活中的大小任务。每个学生在生活中的兴趣点可能都不一样。我会尽可能挖掘学生好奇的点，从而开启话题。这样可以促进学生多分享、输出、记录。
Along the way, I have come to value the following things more and more: to give wait time to the students, to help the students feel proud of their work, to invite them to collaborate and interact, and last but not least, to show curiosity to what each of them says. Content
My lessons are very interactive and task-based. It means I won’t be lecturing or asking my students to do drills. We will be completing communication tasks together.
Tools

Yoolin is an expectation teacher. I am glad to have found her. She conducts her classes with great organization,patience and a positive attitude. She creates a n ideal atmosphere for learning English. She is the best English teacher I’ve ever met so I recommend her to all of you!!!❤️❤️❤️

Yoolin is exceptionally skilled at teaching and guiding learners towards achieving their English learning goals. I feel very comfortable when I talk with her in English and believe I can receive a lot of help from her in improving my English speaking skills.
