Girish

Girish has told me about his trip around Assam and Meghalaya cycling all in KannaDa and I had to understand his story. His always super helpful giving me synonyms when I do not understand, guidance for me to reach the answer by myself, sometimes driving us to laugh a lot when I am completely out of what he is expecting but languages is made to be enjoyed and that is what I love about Girish's classes! Thank you Teacher :)

It was good to have a class again after some time! we taked about Rajyotsava and he said I was completely crazy because of how I celebrated from Ireland haha and he is totally right but I enjoy my madness and love for Karnataka 💛❤️ :) He pushed me to not use English like usual and explaining all in in Kannada and brought support where I needed it. Thank you so much Teacher 🙏

Nice to catch up with Girish after my trip from Karnataka, he told me about his own trip and I tried to understand his explanations, and then I had to tell him about my adventures around beautiful Karnataka. Love learning with you Girish you are such a great teacher, thank you for bearing with me!!!! Matte signoNa!

Today we have talked about swantatrostava (Independence day), I found out I celebrate more tham some Indian people :) and he said I deserve a life long visa for my love for the country ! (wow!). We discussed my plans for this weekend and had a good laugh as usual! Safe trip and matte sigoNa!

I was doubtful about iTalki and how it could help me learn Kannada, but Girish is an outstanding teacher with great patience. He makes sure I understand things before moving on. He stops even when I utter a single word, understanding the importance of letting me complete my thoughts and giving me space to speak. He brings a balance of technique and free-flowing conversation. He lived in the US and traveled across the world and India, which makes it so interesting to talk to him.
