I have a background in teaching English. However, for many years, I worked in the fashion industry, initially as an editor of a fashion magazine and later in marketing and communications of various brands. I currently live in Milan and am enjoying studying Italian. This experience has reminded me of how important it is to practice a foreign language with native speakers. It has also inspired me to offer myself as a conversational partner for those looking to improve their Russian. I have a wide range of interests, love traveling, and am genuinely interested in other people and cultures. If you are beyond the beginner stage, I will only speak Russian during our classes, encouraging you to do the same. Elena is such a calm and caring teacher! She met me at my current level and encouraged me to speak as much as possible. She broke-down tough grammar concepts and made sure I understood before we moved on. I felt comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I highly recommend Elena for beginners to Russian and those who want to review/brush-up on concepts.

Elena is an excellent teacher. She listens patiently, corrects when necessary, suggests better ways of expression and actively contributes to our conversation by recounting her own experiences. I find her classes stimulating and enjoyable.

Elena is a great teacher! She is always well-prepared for our lessons and I really appreciate how she creates customized materials to address my weaknesses with grammar and pronunciation. She also introduces new vocabulary to help me advance my skills and challenges me in a way that feels achievable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to improve their Russian.
