Greetings! Welcome to my profile; I'm thrilled you're here! I'm Katrine, a native Danish teacher from Denmark teaching on Italki. My teaching journey began in Colombia, where I taught English at a school and discovered my passion for education. Having explored various corners of Latin America, I've now settled in Chile, eager to further discover its beauty.
My time abroad allowed me to share my language skills, transitioning to teaching Danish here on Italki. I enjoy connecting with new people, exchanging cultures, and exploring languages. Nature is my sanctuary, and I'm always immersed in a creative art-craft project.

Katrine was very encouraging and thorough during our initial lesson. She was happy to tailor the learning trajectory to my language goals. I have booked my next 10 lessons with her and am so excited to get started!

I really enjoyed our lesson with Katrine! She is very attentive, professional and patient. Katrine prepared a lot of useful and fun activities/exercises, we worked on together in class. She creates a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, that encourages to speak and explore the language.

Vi havde en rigtig hyggelig snak om julen. Jeg glæder mig til at fortsætte med emnet i næste lektion. Efter 10 lektioner med Katrine mærker jeg forbedring i min selvtillid til at tale dansk i dagligdagen :)
