Hi everybody ;) My name's Elisa. I have more than 10 years of experience in teaching English as a second language to non-native speakers. I'm TESOL/TEFL certified. Teaching has been my passion since I was 15. I've been tutoring teenagers, college students and adults. I have a degree in Economics. I studied foreign languages in high school. My English level is proficient. I can also speak Spanish and a little bit of German. I stayed in the US as an au pair and while I was there, I attended classes at Hobart University and some classes at the Finger Lakes Community Collage, too. Teaching is the best way I know to help people achiving their goals. That's way I hope to meet you soon :)

I'm a very easy-going person. I'm professional and I love to put my students at ease. Each lesson will be structured based on your level, your skills and what your goals are. I'll provide you the material (PDFs, images, texts, exercises, PPTs etc). We could discuss about what you want to achive, what your goals are and, based on that, I'll customize the lesson for you. My advice is to book a trial class, so we can talk about how to schedule your English journey in the best way ever. Helping you is my priority.

Every lesson is based and structured on what your goals are, your level and your skills. I'm here to support, encourage and help you leveling up your skills, day by day. Helping you is my mission.
I usually provide all the material you need after the class. We'll go through some grammar rules and exercises to practise it. We can have conversation on a specific topic in order to improve your vocabulary knowledge, or we can just wing it! I can also give you home assignments in order to practise what we studied during the class. Those are crucial if you like to stay focused and improve even more. I'll provide the material by the end of the day (such as PDFs, PPTs, audios, podcasts, etc.)Il mio materiale didattico

San Diego Voice and Accent - SDVA - 2023I studied American pronunciation, the IPA, how voice resonate in our mouth and how it is produced. My teacher was Julie Cunninghan founder of the San Diego Voice and Accent accademy. It's an online course in which you can level up your pronunciation skills.

ENGLISH TUTORI've been teaching English as a second language to kids, teenagers and also adults. I love helping them to achive their goals, thanks to 1-on-1 or online lessons. I tailor and customize every lesson based on each student skills, English level and goals.

Laurea triennale - ECONOMIA E GESTIONE AZIENDALEI studied Economics in order to become an accountant. I also had the chance to study both Business English and Spanish.
2008 - 2009
Laurea triennale - FOREIGN LANGUAGESI studied foreign languages in Verona for a whole year after have been in the USA as an au pair for six months. I studied both Spanish and English.

I'm a complete beginner, and today I had another great and very effective lesson with Elisa. She has everything perfectly prepared, and we focus on a different grammar topic in each lesson. First, she explains the grammar to me very carefully, and then we move on to exercises. I hope that soon we'll be able to have conversations in Italian. The lesson is always very motivating for me.
If you want to learn Italian from scratch like me, I really recommend her.

I’m learning Italian from scratch. I’ve already had 4 lessons with Elisa, one per week. She always prepares perfect materials for each lesson. During the lesson, she explains grammar very thoroughly, then we do exercises where I get immediate feedback. The exercises we don’t finish in class, I complete as homework, and Elisa corrects them remotely. It works absolutely great and motivates me to study during the week.
