Hi!
I'm Flemming and I'm from Iceland. I'm a language lover and a freelance musician/music teacher. I'm currently living in Denmark where I'm studying classical accordion.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I'm a conversational teacher with a strong emphasis on dialogue. I'm patient and I have a strong sense for when I should take the wheel and help you, and when I should let the student struggle a bit to get through their personal walls. My lessons are very personal and dependant on the student's needs. However, they mostly go on through conversation, as we try and build up your confidence in your new language where you can converse and ask for aid, even if it's through very simple terms.
I feel that what most students need in the beginning, be it in music, languages, or anything else, is the confidence to be themselves and to stand strong even if they're struggling to do what they could consider to be "simple things".
I would, through conversation in the language, gain this courage and confidence, while diving as deeply as necessary into the things that need to be improved to progress.5.0

A super interesting way of starting to understand Icelandic. Flemming has a deep interest and understanding languages. His style really helps my brain stay interested. The overwhelming is broken down and made attainable. Super enjoyable.

It was a good class, Flemming always gives me the context and origin of the words, so I can use them better.

I really enjoyed my lesson with Flemming. He creates a great atmosphere for the class and is attentive to every little thing. I like the thorough grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation corrections he provided, often letting me the chance to correct them myself. I was preparing for a B1 oral test and he greatly helped boosting my confidence. Takk fyrir Flemming !

Classes with Flemming are always great, they are very dynamic and the time flies. Flemming focuses not only on teaching correct pronunciation, but also on understanding the meaning and origin of words.
