I'm from Iceland with a wide variety of interests, one of which being languages. I enjoy meeting new people, learning new things and be creative. I studied engineering and spend my free time dancing and playing chess. And hiking and chasing the northern lights, of course.
I currently live in Iceland, but I have also lived in Chile and Denmark.

Right at the start we will practice speaking, even if it is your first time. Vocabulary will increase each session, and don't worry about forgetting stuff; it's part of the process. "Aha!"- moments are the goal here.
The focus on grammar will be tailored to you, your interest in it and knowledge from other languages. I will assign exercises for you to do between sessions, starting with easy ones that will gradually increase in complexity.Il mio materiale didattico

Alda and I have been working together for a month now ; we spent several lessons working on assessing my level and how to best learn for me, and we now have a good plan and I look forward to seeing my progress in the coming months.

We met for the first time today and discussed my language learning experience and planned my study. Alda focused on my learning needs and level including my learning motivation, and I felt she really understood what I am trying to achieve. I am really looking forward to working with Alda.
