My name is Diana, and I have been teaching English for one year.
I'm from Portugal 🇵🇹 but I have been learning English since I was a kid and I speak Spanish.
I studied European languages and translation at University so I am always curious to learn about new cultures. 🌏
I enjoy traveling, singing, and playing the piano. I love watching football and going to comedy shows. 🎹 ⚽
I deeply appreciate thrillers and mystery TV series, so I would love to hear any recommendations you might have!

As a teacher, I listen to what you need to help you learn and make lessons that fit your goals.
I started teaching English in 2023, working in person with kids and teens, but I quickly realized I enjoy teaching adults the most.
In Portugal, I teach corporate English to professionals online. On Italki, I have taught adults from three different continents, giving me a chance to learn about many different cultures and ways of life. 🌎

I’ve had a great experience with Diana as my conversational teacher on italki. She’s one of the best out there! We always dive into different topics, keeping things light and humorous but also adding in some good critical thinking. Every lesson feels like a meaningful conversation, and I always leave with new insights. Highly recommended!

I feel confident and comfortable speaking English with Diana. She makes you feel comfortable and talks to you to help you improve your conversation skills without making you feel bad or embarrassed. She is also a great way to have a conversation, making it feel natural and spontaneous, like you would be with friends.

My lesson with Diana was excellent. She made me feel really comfortable, which helped the class flow smoothly. She’s patient, attentive, and explains everything clearly.
