Hi, I'm Stephanie! While I've taught in some capacity for the last 10+ years, I've been teaching English for the last 2 and love everything about it. I've been an avid traveler for my entire adult life and I love being able to learn from others around the world. Teaching English allows for cultural exchange and doing something I'm passionate about! In my free time, I love photography (especially film), growing vegetables in my garden, playing sports, reading, riding my bike, going on hikes, and taking my dog along for all of my adventures!Che tipo di insegnante sono
I love helping English Language Learners meet their goals, no matter what they are. Work in hospitality and tourism? Well I've done that too and know just what you need! Work in healthcare? I'm a nurse and I've got you covered! Need pronunciation guidance? Well I have a neutral North American accent! Having a hard time with grammar? I'd love to make it easy for you!
My teaching experience includes curriculum development for adults in the non-profit sector, mentoring/teaching in the American healthcare system, teaching general english group classes to immigrants, and 1on1 online tutoring with teenagers starting school in America as English Language Learners (making A's and B's in English!).Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
My lessons and teaching style center around one thing- YOU! Let's bring your interests and things that are important to you into our lessons. How do you learn best? Digitally or on paper? With homework? With subtitles? Whatever you need to accomplish your goals, I can figure it out. I booked her class because I wanted to learn English for use in the hospital. It was a great time and she taught me more than I wanted to know. She was very kind and taught me in a way I could understand. If anyone is interested in learning hospital conversation, I would recommend taking her class :)
