Hi. I am Chris and I’m a qualified and experienced teacher of English as a foreign language and a native speaker of British English. I have taken more than 4000 lessons on italki and have many regular students.

My lessons will help you achieve your goal of being fluent, reaching profiency level, reducing your accent, sounding more natural and improving your vocabulary through stimulating conversation on a wide range of topics. Exam technique is as important as ability when taking IELTS or Cambridge exams, I can help you raise your score.
My lesson style is relaxed and informal, I will help you feel more confident and less nervous when speaking. I allow students to speak as much as possible but I also listen very attentively for grammar and pronunciation errors and will help you to reduce mistakes through clear explanation and example sentences.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I am flexible about the content of the lessons and try to structure them according to YOUR needs. I will initially assess your level, and focus on reducing weaknesses so that you can see a clear improvement in your level and self confidence.
Technique is vital to pass standard exams like IELTS and Cambridge. We will practise technique together and I will give feedback on your answers and offer suggestions on attaining a higher test score.

My CAE preparation classes with Chris are perfect. He is able to identify my strengths and weaknesses, to focus on preparing more intensely what I need to improve. He knows the exam very well and always gives me practical ideas for each part, such as appropriate vocabulary according to the level of formality and useful phrases. He also corrects my writings and provides me with a lot of additional material. Highly recommended!

I need to be ready for my C2 exam and, I was looking for someone to help me boost my confidence but also willing to make me learn from my mistakes.

这是一个非常好的老师，我真的很幸运能遇到他，在他的帮助下，我的雅思水平突飞猛进，方向也十分清晰，虽然我只有一个月的准备时间，但在他的鼓励与帮助下，我相信即便结果不如意，在学习过程中也让我受益匪浅，使我养成了很好的英语学习习惯，往后的日子里我也能更加高效的学习英语。明天就要考试了，老师跟我讲要保持信心，这真的极大的缓解了我内心的焦虑。
