Hei! Olen Veera. Hauska tutustua! :) Hi! I'm Veera. Nice to meet you! :)
I'm born and raised in Finland, but I'm currently living in Norway, Finland's neighbouring country. I have a master's degree in translation and have been studying many languages, for example English, Norwegian, Japanese and Russian, so I can give you many language learning tips. Although I never got to work as a translator, I have been working as a Finnish teacher for many years now.
I am interested in languages, cultures and traveling, and I'm especially interested in Japanese culture. I also love reading books, playing games and eating good food.Che tipo di insegnante sono
As a trained translator I am first and foremost an expert of Finnish language, and I have a minor in Finnish. I have been teaching Finnish from beginners to all the way to advanced Finnish speakers and native speaker. I have experience teaching different age groups: kids, teens and adult.
My lessons will be tailored to your wishes, goals, language level and interests. As a language learner myself I understand there are ups and downs in language learning, but I am ready to face these challenges with you. I am a calm person who likes to help others learn, so don't be afraid to ask questions or make mistakes. I believe that everyone can learn Finnish! :)Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I am a structured and thorough teacher who loves to use different teaching methods and materials. I think it's important to use Finnish as much as possible in order to build good understanding of the language and getting used to how it sounds. That's why I will try to speak only in Finnish - even for beginners! And I will that you'll also try to use Finnish as much as possible. Don't be afraid, because I've taught people with absolutely zero knowledge of Finnish using this method - and it works! :) Of course you are free to use other languages when trying to ask questions, but please try asking in Finnish first.
