Hi there! I'm a born and bred New Yorker currently living in the United States. I've worked for years in international affairs and global health and I am passionate about languages. The testimony to that is my ability to speak 9 (6 fluently!). I love history, global affairs, arts, travel and food. Most of all, I love connecting with other people, especially when it comes to learning other languages.
I also can speak 9 languages - 6 fluently!

Having learned to speak multiple languages, from Portuguese to German to Arabic, I understand how conflicting and confusing learning a language can be. This is why I first seek to understand the motivation of the student first to understand their language goals and meet their expectations. My style is focused around these two principles, seeking to understand first the level they are at (whether from scratch for from seeking to specify their language learning (e.g.: political English, English for interviews etc) and then ensuring encouraging and patience as they learn through their journey.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
My lessons use lots of multimedia, from clips, to music - English is such an intrinsic and highly complex language that is ever changing and it is important to hone in on both listening skills but also interacting with English (whether American or British) in order to fluently comprehend not only discussions but cultural contexts.
I do teach as well on cultural references, whether on music or work culture in the UK because language isn't only about speaking a language but understanding a culture.
For English for recruitment or politics, we'll read articles, go over scenarios and help build their vocabulary via mock interviews.Il mio materiale didattico
