I'm an officially certified native German tutor with 17 years of experience. I prepare for Goethe A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. TELC and TestDaF. Job interviews!
What makes me a (good, ok, let's say it) professional teacher is of course the technical knowledge and 17 years of experience, but mainly my interest in other people. I genuinely desire for people to reach the next level. with fun, creativity.
I love working with kids, they force me to stay curious and fun.
The Business world - love exploring opportunities and understanding all the different fields of corporate operation.

I also speak English, French, and Spanish fluently, at bilingual level. I've also studied Hebrew, Dutch, Indonesian, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Italian and classical Greek to different degrees. My formal academic background is in TSL, law and grammar. I've lived in Germany (Saarbrücken, Köln and Berlin), France (Paris), Indonesia (Ubud, Bali) and Argentina (Buenos Aires). I'm currently a language student in Russian and Indonesian. My passions are languages, martial arts, acting and film, democracy, nature and its protection, and literature. German for life, work, school, exam: the lessons are CUSTOMIZED.
Conversation German
The lessons are divided in 3 parts, but we'll always talk a lot.
1 /3 - Conversation improvisation:
We improvise talking about all possible subjects of interest to the student, and we`ll take vocabulary and grammar notes. I use those notes to produce exercises.
1/3 - Correcting
We`ll correct your diary, grammar exercises, creative texts, your test, etc. I`ll give you assignments based on those corrections.
1/3 Exploring
We`ll discuss a song, a film, a text, a grammar subject, the news, or a video together. Always more fun.
FOR WORK

Max was very prepared. He did an assessment of my children’s abilities in German and their interests and then provided them with lessons and topics tailored to their interests. Great first lesson.

Max is great! He has a lot of useful tools to facilitate learning the language, and he has a great knowledge base of the language as well as an encouraging and kind attitude during class.
I am learning a lot, and I'm excited to learn more.

It was difficult for me as I couldn't quite grasp the concept of what I was learning, but Max was very patient and gave me time and guidance until I realised how it works. Thank you for another great lesson Max.

Was a very informative and fun lesson with Max. He has an amazing knowledge of when to use humour, patience, and teaching. I feel very comfortable taking lessons with Max and he is very encouraging which helps hugely to give me confidence for my upcoming exam.

I have had a wonderful trial lesson with Max, he helped me create a plan for my quickly upcoming A2 exam. Within my trial lesson he helped me tremendously with grammar concepts and sentence structure, and gave me homework prior to the trial lesson, and has given me homework for our future lessons. Thank you so much :)
