Tina is a great teacher. I wanted to learn phonetics to put a solid foundation for my Chinese learning. So as I asked, we're studying sounds and Chinese pronunciation. I'm pleased with how much I am learning. She knows well how to explain sounds, but also uses really good materials for our lessons, finds good examples and uses any occasion to teach me not just the phonetics, but also new vocabulary and the topical usage of Chinese in situations

🙏🩷 Liu Laoshi is an absolutely spectacular teacher! She is very talented at what she does, and has the patience of a saint. I was challenged at my own level, and learned the history of Chinese culture. It goes a VEEEEERY long way the way she takes the time to go into detail about lessons. I struggle with pronunciation, but after my initial lesson, I was a more confident speaker. I couldn't ask for a better mentor who understands my needs and wants as a HSK1 student. So excited to learn again with you, Liu Laoshi! ☀️🏫

Tina is a good teacher, she has really helped get me back into studying Chinese. We follow text book classes together and I am enjoying the challenge of learning Chinese with a friendly and patient teacher. Tina 老师叫我中文很好。

Tina is a personable teacher who explains the material well each lesson. She gives homework to complete and reaches out if you need any further help. Looking forward to more lessons with her!
