I am a native Japanese speaker living in Japan.

My tutoring is focused on conversation skills.
I would like to make you feel comfortable to listen and to have more confidence speaking Japanese.
I will also help you with learning grammar, making sentences and understanding background Japanese culture through simple conversation, depending on your propose for learning Japanese.

Ms. Miyu was very nice. She has a lovely speaking voice. It is very clear and her speech was easy to understand. She was very patient with me. I had some unexpected problems with the microphone on my computer. I was able to hear her but she could not hear me. However; she was very patient as I tried to figure things out. Finally, we were able to connect through Google Hangout on my iPhone. She asked me about my background and was very patient as I struggled to find the right words to express myself. I hope to work with her again.

Great lesson as usual. I learned more new words and expressions. As I said previously, the "transcript" Miyu sensei provides covering all of the key sentences is extremely helpful for review.

色々仕事の事を話しました。そして今中国で流行ってる人狼ゲームをMIYUさんに紹介しました。MIYUさんは美味しい寿司のお米の事もはなしました。楽しかったです。

Myu is an excellent teacher, and makes understanding the difficult aspects of language learning less difficult. I highly recommend.

Miyu is an excellent teacher, and during today's lesson I learned hiragana. Excellent lesson! Looking forward to continuing my studies with sensei.
