I grew up in Alaska, in the USA with my American father and English mother. Since leaving Alaska, I have also lived in Arizona, Texas, and outside the US in Italy, Slovakia, Azerbaijan, Japan, and now I spend most of my year in Brazil and travel the rest of the time.
During university when I was a teenager, I focused on a degree in Russian. In 2020, I started a new degree in International Relations.
In my free time, I love learning languages and travelling. I would like to visit all the countries in the world, as I'm not only fascinated by languages, but also other cultures. So far, though, I've only visited about 80. I also play on an ultimate team and practice Krav Maga regularly.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have been a TEFL-certified, professional teacher in countries around the world since 2011, and online since 2016. I began tutoring younger students as early as 2000, though. I love how fulfilling it is to help my students achieve their language goals, especially when those are tied in with their major life goals. All of my lessons are customized to my students' wants and needs. I have a wide range of interesting materials to help them reach their goals in a relaxed, but professional and productive environment. Apart from typical lessons for improving your English, I also offer lessons focused on business, exam preparation, and even group conversation lessons.
Gauged to the degree of my students' needs, we work on all language skills: vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, speaking (conversation and pronunciation), and listening.Il mio materiale didattico

At he beginning ol lesson I was a bit nervous because it was my first lesson on Italki.However, after a few moments I was calm because Ian was very patient, helpful and nice. I have chosen a very good teacher.
