Hi!! Welcome to my full-of-great-teaching-ideas classroom!!
My name is Ximena and I´m a Certified Spanish for Foreigners Professional Teacher from the Rey Juan Carlos University of Spain.
I've been teaching Spanish for more than 21 years now, to students from all around the world, both online and offline, in groups and private 1-on-1 lessons.
Throughout my teaching career I've developed my own teaching methods and resources to help speed up the learning process and give the student an enhanced experience while learning.
Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have been teaching for 21 years now. I started teaching English at several language schools in Argentina, then I began teaching music in music schools and academies and now I also teach Spanish as a foreign language. I´ve always had "a thing" for teaching, this is what I´ve been doing since pretty much always so I really enjoy it. I love my students and I learn from then everyday, I can´t imagine myself doing something else... I have a University degree in Music teaching, a TEFL degree and a certificate of Spanish language teaching (ELE).

I strongly believe that having a methodology and being systematic are essential characteristics when it comes to learning or teaching a language. Prior to your lesson, you are going to receive a file (a pdf, mp3, a video, a link to an article, ppt presentation etc...) related to the topic we are studying. Every lesson will have different sections: vocabulary, grammar, verbs and their conjugation, a text according to your level and exercises to practice at home. It´s very important for you to review what we have studied, since in every new lesson, we make a revision of what we learnt in the previous one.Il mio materiale didattico

If I was the teacher, I would have given up on me already haha! Ximena is very patient. I can say that I know much more Spanish than I did when I first started back in September, and reading comprehension is easier for me than listening/conversation. Another good lesson. The hour is up so quickly!

Die Stunde mit Ximena hat wieder sehr viel Spaß gemacht und wir haben viel lachen können, obwohl wir auch ernste Themen angesprochen haben. Auf jeden Fall gerne wieder! Danke!

Die Stunde mit Ximena war super lebendig und interessant, so wie ich mir eine Konversationsstunde vorstelle. Für's erste Mal haben wir erstmal ein bisschen über uns erzählt und uns etwas kennengelernt, was sehr sympathisch und locker war. Es fällt mit Sicherheit leicht, auch ganz viele weitere Stunden mit interessanten Gesprächsthemen zu füllen und ich freue mich schon darauf.
