My name is Elysse DaVega, and I'm an American living abroad in the land of pretzels and beer - Germany! I have a comfortable life here because I taught myself to speak German fluently, along with a handful of other languages. You might've seen me on Instagram or YouTube sharing my language learning tips & experience - now, wouldn't you like to do that one-on-one? If so, book an English class with me!
I consider myself a very upbeat and encouraging teacher. I'll help you lose your fear of making mistakes, because mistakes help you learn! One thing about me, I hate boring conversation topics - I'll think of fun, stimulating topics every week to get you thinking and expose you to new vocabulary! I also speak several languages other than my native English. Being multilingual makes me a *far* better teacher because I've been exactly where you are now!

Your class experience will depend on which kind of lesson you book. Conversational classes are unplanned and more focused on improving your natural English expression, whereas my other lessons are skill-specific, and I plan a specific activity or topic for them.
As I said, I will encourage you to make mistakes, but most importantly, *try*. I mostly want to help build your confidence in English. I'll help you become comfortable with taking chances in English and learning from your errors - there is no pressure in our lessons!

I am very very happy to know her and I feel really lucky because she is my teacher. She sends a pdf doc after every lecture to point out my mistakes which I make during lecture. Besides, she is very friendly person, I really enjoy to talk with her about hobbies or our lifes. Thank you so much;)

She is a great teacher. I've been taking her lessons both for conversation practice and written corrections. She knows a lot of words and phrases and it helps me to enhance my vocabulary. She is also very good at correcting sentences and giving clear explanations about why it needs to be corrected. Regardless of what kind of help you are looking for with your English, I can confidently recommend you take her lessons.
