One of my students is Ms. Juliet, an American soprano. She was invited to perform the Chinese song “I Love You China” for the 2018 Spring Festival Gala Evening hosted by CCTV. She was very grateful for this honor and thankful for my assistance in teaching her Mandarin. As you can imagine, I was extremely excited and proud of her – it was a very moving and gratifying moment for me as a teacher. After studying with me for more than three years, Ms. Juliet is speaking Mandarin much more fluently than when we started. my first lesson with Joanna was really good! she came to the lesson very prepared and sent me a summary of everything we learned so I can review it later. I enjoyed talking to her and found her methods to be very easy to understand and suitable for my needs. I am buying a package now and I have a feeling it won't be the last one :)

I have really valued my lessons with Joanna! Joanna has a tremendous sense of quickly gauging my skill level, developing programming uniquely catered to my personal skillset. Joanna is resourceful and thoughtful, especially when it comes to adapting lessons to my strengths and weaknesses.
