One of the best things about Celeste is that she has never (in well over 100 lessons) made me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed when I make up Italian words! She’s so professional but also warm and friendly. Every lesson is enjoyable.

I've had a few lessons now with Celeste and she is a joy to work with. Patient, gentle, funny and I feel my Italian is advancing all down to her tutelage. The hour goes by so fast and that's all because she makes her lessons fun, rewarding an an overall positive experience. I cannot recommend her enough!

I think Celeste is excellent at her job. I started out with her as a complete beginner and after a few months in total I'm already at an intermediate level. She really knows how to adapt the lessons according to needs/preferences/level etc. She guides me through the necessary steps while focusing on what's important and interesting to me. Our lessons are never boring and we can talk about a wide array of subjects. She doesn't over correct when you first start out, instead she corrects gradually as your level improves and focuses on points we've already touched on. It helps a lot that we speak the same languages as we can compare grammatical structures and she always finds a translation for vocab. Even when I say a word in Spanish by accident she always gets what I mean. Celeste loves languages and has an excellent understanding of Italian and how to teach it. If you're looking for a kind and professional teacher I definitely recommend her!
