I've been an English as a Second Language teacher for over six years now. I came to the profession after growing tired of my life in the UK and wanting to live somewhere much warmer than Cornwall, which is a beautiful place but can get very wet. I moved to Spain in 2016 where I've been living ever since, teaching English and trying my hardest to learn the language.Che tipo di insegnante sono
As a teacher, I try my best to create a friendly, welcoming space for you to learn English. I know how nerve-wracking it can be as a language learner, no matter what level you are, and so I want you to feel happy and comfortable during our lessons to make mistakes and not feel embarrassed. Making mistakes with me is the best thing you can do as I'll correct you (nicely, of course!) and help you stop making that mistake again. All of this will be done naturally as I don't want anyone to feel overwhelmed by English, particularly when speaking with me.

My teaching style is relaxed but focused. I want you to feel comfortable talking to be, and I don't want you to dread lessons. I provide homework if you want it, but never feel stressed if you don't have time to do it. It's not the end of the world, and we'll have a productive lesson regardless.
Lessons with me are, I hope, like chatting with a friend who corrects you. They're based around one specific topic for each lesson. We can be talking about plastic in the environment one day, and the Game of Thrones episode the next. I will let you know the topic in advance so that you can prepare in advance. I strongly recommend having lessons with Jenny! She can help with any grammar! The lessons are very interesting, there are a lot of topics to conversation and Jenny has a brilliant sense of humor! She is an amazing teacher and wonderful person!

Jenny is like a walking encyclopedia, no matter what questions I ask her, she always knows the answer, like having lessons with her, a loooooooooooot!!!!!

That was an incredible start into the year! We had enough time to discuss, along with my English learning goals, politics, activism, cultural differencies, languages and even my PhD thesis on French Psycholinguistics! And all this with (classic English) humor :) Jenny, thank you for a great first lesson and I hope to see you soon for a deeper dive into English!

I am more confident in English thanks to lessons with Jenny! There is always some topic we can talk about. She is patient and explains everything that I not understand. I definitely recommend Jenny, she is the best English teacher on italki! 💯✨
