Agha Cyrus was funny and entertaining - I had a good trial lesson with him involving music! He quickly understood I was seeking training in academic Persian too, so I'm eager to go onwards in this language learning journey!

The lecture was stimulating and I can already feel that under his guidance I am poised to read and discuss advanced Persian literary texts. He is extremely accessible and goes out of the way to help his students in learning Persian.

I liked how he repeated the vocabulary he taught me .I also like how he relates learning language to music,as I believe that each language does have a musicality to it .

Cyrus is an excellent teacher. One particular aspect of his classes that I very much enjoy is that he includes poetry and literature from renowned Persian poets like Hafez. Cyrus explains the meaning and grammar of the poem and it helps you understand and become more familiar with literary Persian. In addition to this, he incorporates conversation and dialogue to help you improve your spoken Persian. Overall, I highly recommend Cyrus if you want to improve your Persian language skills.
