Hello, my name is Patricia, and I am from São Paulo, Brazil. Portuguese is my native language, and I am proficient in English. My primary goal is to teach English to Brazilians and Portuguese to anyone else. Having spent 7 years in New Zealand, upon my return, I embarked on a journey of teaching both English and Portuguese. In my lessons, I employ a blend of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach and insights gained from my own language-learning journey. Just amazing. She is very experienced. After a few lessons I knew I was in good hands with this teacher and very comfortable and she makes the lessons fun and knows how to adjust to a particular person’s needs . Just great . I will definitely stay with her as my teacher and I think you should give her a shot too .

Patricia is an excellent, excellent Portuguese teacher for both kids and adults.
My child has been learning Portuguese with Patricia using the language immersion method. We have been using this method in other language classes on Italki since my child was 3 years old. Not many teachers understand this method or are comfortable using this method. Thankfully, Patricia understood and felt confident teaching her language in this manner.
She uses different teaching methods that make her classes enjoyable, so much, that my child looks forward to each lesson.
As for her personality, she is very friendly, very flexible and truly wants her students to properly learn her native language.
As a result, we are very happy to continue having her share her gift and love of teaching her native language with us.

Patricia is not just my teacher but also become a friend of mine. She has a flexible teaching style and can adjust according to student's background and preference. We talked about a very wide range of topics.
