My name is Miki. I was born and raised in Japan. I'm here because I find it rewarding to be able to help people improve Japanese and enjoy teaching. I worked as a TA at a university in the US so I have experience helping with university courses.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have taught children as young as five years old. For children, I use puppets and power point slides to learn words and grammar together. Conversation lessons are fun tool for the Japanese learners to talk about their favorite things, recent news, or about their family and friends.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
My lessons are the place for people to practice safely without judgements. You are welcomed to talk about any topics of your interest in Japanese, and I will type out words and phrases that suit the most so that you can review after the class. However, if the topic does not align with the italki community guidelines, I will have to end the lesson immediately and your account will be reported.

Mimi’s style is exactly what I was looking for. She is patient and encouraging and her English is outstanding, which makes it easy for me to understand her explanations. She is also fun and has a good sense of humor, which helps make lessons enjoyable.
