Aiko

She was very helpful in working with me on my grammar, allowing me to attempt completing a sentence on my own then chiming in with suggestions on how to make it better. It's very helpful as these are things I wouldn't be able to figure out from books and it makes me more confident to speak without worrying about my mistakes.

I always have great lessons with Aiko sensai. She is patient, understanding and makes the material easy to understand. We review materials and also practice with real experiences. I always appreciate that she encourages me to keep going and is always understanding to take lessons slowly when necessary

I love my lessons with Aiko. They’re always so informative and fun! I feel like I improve each time. Aiko makes each lesson incredibly fun and well-paced. She guides you and encourages you to repeat phrases to make sure that you’re properly pronouncing the words/phrases. She also laughs with you when you find something funny and will find a great way to turn it into a learning opportunity . I was struggling with saying 999 and Aiko wrote it out so I could see it and helped me practice it several times. It made learning the more difficult numbers really fun and it was a great experience.

Aiko sensei is great! She really pushes me and makes me think about things that I wouldn't normally think about. This is great being learning the language isn't enough with Japanese, Learning the way the people think, view and interpret things allows you to understand the language better and from a new perspective. Aiko sensei has been showing me that and I am very grateful. :)

Aiko is so patient and an excellent teacher. She can see where you struggle and gives good resources, advice and homework to strengthen your skills. She makes learning very enjoyable and I always enjoy our lessons!

Aiko is absolutely wonderful! She is so patient and encouraging as I learn. She helps guide me where I struggle, gives helpful tips and tricks to help me remember. I appreciate the recordings that she gives me to assist in my practice outside of each lesson. She’s also so cheerful and celebrates with me when I’m able to successfully read something that I struggled with before.
